Ravindra Shripad Kulkarni 

Ravindra Shripad Kulkarni (Ph.D.  Harvard University, 1967, Mathematics), Distinguished Professor, Bhaskaracharya Pratishthan, Pune, (2006-)
Emeritus Professor, CUNY, New York (2008-), ex-Chair Professor IIT(Bombay) (2006-2013), ex- Directror and Distinguished Professor, Harish-Chandra Research Institute, Prayagraj, (2001-2006). During 1967-2000, taught at Johns Hopkins U (Baltimore), Princeton U (NJ), Columbia U (New York), Rutgers U (NJ), Indiana U (Bloomington, Indiana), CUNY (New York). Visiting Positions at The Institute for Advanced Study (Princeton, NJ), U of Bonn (Germany), Technishe U Berlin (Germany), IHES (France), Mittal Leffler Institute (Sweden). Over 250 lectures at major Mathematics Centers in the US, Europe, China, India, Over 80 publications in reputed journals  in Mathematics. Guided 10 Ph.D. Students, 
 
Founding President, The Indian Mathematics Consortium (2014-2018),  ex-President The Ramanujan Mathematical Society (2013), Founding Member, and served in various capacities in SIAA (1988–). 
 
Three Major Events (SIAA): i) One day event at the Consulate General of India in New York on “Perspectives on Religion and Spirituality” (1992), ii) Gave $50,000 to SIAA to support activities in educational institutions in India,(2006), iii) Organised a 5-day Conference, sponsored by SIAA, between the Indian Mathematics Consortium, and the American Mathematical Society,   at the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, (2016)
 

Kishore G. Kulkarni 

Kishore G. Kulkarni (Ph.D. Economics, Pittsburgh, 1982) Distinguished Professor, Dept Chair, Economics (1994-1997), Metropolitan State University of Denver (1989-date).  Also taught at University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown (1980-1982) University of Central Arkansas (1982-1986), University of Louisiana-Monroe (1986-1989).  Worked as a Visiting Professor for University of Colorado-Boulder, Colorado State University, Colorado School of Mines, Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver.  Professor for Semester at Sea Program (1994).  Visiting summer researcher for Reserve Bank of India, National Institute of Bank Management, Indira Institute of Development Research etc.  Author or co-author of 170 refereed journal articles and ten books.  Winner of several achievement awards.  More information about Prof Kulkarni is at www.kulkarnibooks.com

Rajasekhar R. Vangapaty

RajasekharVangapaty Registrar, Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York. RajasekharVangapaty (Raj) has been working in higher education since 1983 as an administrator and a faculty member.. As a recipient of German and French government scholarships, Raj has learned and shared the education and cultures in Germany, France, England, Holland, Malta, Dubai.. Raj holds B. Eng… (OU), M.Tech… Eng… (IIT), M..S. Computer Science (Lehman, CUNY) and Advanced Engineering from Ecole des Min, (France). He speaks four languages and plays four instruments..   Raj enjoys advising and counseling the diverse student body, domestic and international STUDENT population in his work as a Registrar, Fashion Institute of Technology

Prof. Raj Vangapaty served as a Board member in a number of organizations, Vice President, Information Technology, State University of New York Registrars’ Association, Board of Director, , Escribe Company.  Board member of Briarcliff College,

Currently Prof Raj is a Board member of Briarcliff College, Vice President Academics and Technology of American Institute of Technology, Chairman/Advisory Council of Save the Weavers Organization and EducationChair/Advisor to the American Telugu Association.

Prof Raj is working on two major projects (1) to help the handloom weavers in getting their work recognized globally.  (2) Providing the Soft Skills, Spoken English, Computer education/skill and employable vocational skill building and Leadership programs to the students of Government Schools in India, with the goal to reduce the gap between the students from Government Schools and the students from Private Schools. He volunteers in multi-cultural community centers in New York area, as well as conducts academic Computer courses to the senior citizens and counseling workshop sessions outside FIT.

Vivek Shankar Natarajan

VivekShankar Natarajan is a Professor of Marketing in the Department of Business at Lamar University in Texas, USA. He holds a PhD in Business Administration( Major field: Marketing/ Minor field: International Business) from University of Texas, Arlington, an MBA in International Business( Panjab University) and Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering.  His research interests fall in the intersection of Marketing, Macromarketing, and International Business. He has published more than 25 articles in reputed academic journals including Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Marketing Studies Journal, International Journal of Business Excellence, and International Journal of  Indian Culture and Business Management.  He has taught a variety of courses in Marketing ( Principles of Marketing, Marketing Management, Marketing Promotion, Marketing Research), Management (Seminar on Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management, Global Enrichment) and Healthcare( Healthcare Economics and Healthcare Entrepreneurship). He has served as President of numerous academic organizations including Lamar University Faculty Senate, Federation of Business Disciplines, Association of Collegiate Marketing Educators, and Business and Health Administration Association. He has also served as reviewer for several academic journals. For his contributions to Marketing and Business Education, he was recognized as the Federation of Business Disciplines( FBD) / Association of Collegiate Marketing Educators (ACME) Distinguished Educator in the year 2018 during the FBD annual meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Rish S. Raj

Dr. Rish S.Raj  is  the founder of S I A A along with six other professors (1987). He served as President of the society several times.He was the Assoc.Dean in the G S OE (87-88) ,served as Chair of Faculty Senate(2006-13) and professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at CCNY /CUNY. He has directed doctoral dissertations of  more than 15 students from US and India in the field of Rotational Turbulence, Hybrid Engines and Wakes, and also lectured at all starting  I IT ‘s and many countries of the world; Russia, Australia,Germany, Holland, Belgium, UK, Canada, Israel and UN (on VEDAS). He has Co-authored 10 books in particular on speed of mind, absolute scale of  intelligence,Balance,Turning point, Thermo- Fluids ,Turbo- machinery Design etc.  He is on the editorial board of International Journal of Turbo-Jet Engines (Haifa-Israel) and Chaired and organized many technical sessions of the  A SME / I G T I Energy Committee.He was member of  the N.J. State Board of Engineers. He served as a  consultant to UN TOKTEN program, and consultant to; US Army, GE,Teledyne , Exxon,CW, distinguished fellow of US Navy and Fellow of NASA.He won congressional recognition for his work on Explosion-Implosion for US Navy and the community service to township of Emerson.  Presently he is the Program Director of CUNY ROTC-Army (2012-) in addition to his professorship.He is a PHD (Aersp. Engrg) from Penn State , M.S .Hons ( Power Gen/Mech Engrg. (USSR)) and B,S.Hons ( Math) Punjab Univ.India

Eswar G. Phadia

Eswar G. Phadia (Ph.D. Ohio State., 1971), emeritus professor of mathematics, dept. chair, dean, College of Science and Health, William Paterson University (1973-2013), UC, Davis (1977-78), visiting scholar, Wharton, UPenn. (2013-2016), sabbaticals and summer visits at UCLA, Harvard, Columbia, Rutgers, UPenn, numerous publications in professional journals, books, latest book (Springer 2016), attended professional conferences and lectured within USA and overseas in China, India, Portugal, Hungary, Italy, Jordan, Singapore, Egypt, Sweden, etc., recipient of university honors and NSF grants, consultant to pharmaceutical companies (1977-1997), past president of SIAA and NJ Chapter of Am. Stat. Assoc., member of Inst. Math. Stat., elected member of Int. Stat. Institute. 
 

Rohit Parikh

Rohit Parikh, a distinguished professor of CS, Math, Philosophy at City University of New York.  Educated at Elphinstone College Mumbai and at Harvard University.  Three times winner in the Putnam mathematical competition.  Taught previously at Stanford, Panjab University, Bristol University, Boston University.  Visiting appointments at Caltech, TIFR (Mumbai), SUNY (Buffalo), Berkeley, ETH (Zurich), NYU.  Worked at Bell Labs and IBM.  Have directed 22 doctoral dissertations as shown in mathematical genealogy.  Edited several books plus one book which was dedicated to Rohit Parikh.  Former editor of IJFTCS and Journal of Philosophical Logic.

Ashoke Marathe 

I am now emeritus professor at CUNY, Brooklyn College. I have worked in academia for 56 years. My main research interest is in the area of interaction of theoretical physics and differential geometry and topology. During my lectures at MPIMIS, Leipzig, I started calling this area ‘Physical Mathematics’. My most recent monograph in this area ‘Topics in Physical Mathematics’ is published by Springer.
