  • Prof. H. D.   • Swami Nikhileshwarananda and Arunima Sinha gave an inspired talk on Empowering: Date :  Saturday, 3rd October, 2015, Time  :  5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Venue  :  Hindu Samaj Mandir,     247 W Ramapo Avenue, Mahwah, NJ 07430.  Arunima had a terrible accident when she lost her leg and yet she survived whole night between railway tracks and recovered with prosthetic leg.  Moreover, with the inspiriration encouragement from Swamiji learned Vivekananda technique for achieving confidence and set the goal of climbing the Mount Everest.  She described her experiences while climbing when she lacked enough oxygen to continue and yet through the grace of God was able to borrow someone else’ oxygen to reach safety afer taking a video of herself on top of the world.  She has received many award including Padmashree from Indian Govt and runs a foundation to encourage other diablled girls be confident and overcome the problems. She talked about confidence and faith in God.
