Abstract: 

 “Technology always had an impact on higher education even in the days of the Indusrial age. For example, printing technology allowed education to be free of location and time with publications of books and journals. A single book could be printed and copies sent all over the world.

The digital technology will transform higher education in several, ways. It will result in the democratization of education and become more accessible and affordable. Second, library will,go to the laptop. Third, collaborative research across nations and  disciplines will be more feasible resulting in more breakthroughs in science, arts and social sciences.”

The webinar is free. The SIAA-members are welcome to invite their friends, and other interested people. However, for our records, each person needs to register. We are basically interested in participation by academics.
